A Tribute to a Co-worker
December 27, 2011 by Andre Best
Most of us have jobs that we are required to be at for most of the week. Because of this, most of us still have co-workers that we are around for the majority of our week. Some of those co-workers we enjoy, we talk with, we arrange things with, we report to, and some, we befriend. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on December 27, 2011 | Comments (0)
A Beautiful Mind, a Dirty Mind
November 6, 2011 by Andre Best
The mind is letting us know that something needs to be worked through. Something needs to be expressed so as to be moved beyond. Is any of it real? Of course, it feels as such, but in reality it isn't. The mind has just found another way to busy up the presence of life with its seeming existence. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on November 6, 2011 | Comments (0)
Writing Writing Itself
July 31, 2011 by Andre Best
The entire process of writing is interesting in and of itself. What is it anyway? Well, it's simply putting what's in the mind onto e-paper. It's a structuring of thoughts and the words that they include into a cohesive flow that makes sense. Wash, rinse, repeat, and an article is born. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on July 31, 2011 | Comments (1)
Decision Indecision
December 31, 2010 by Andre Best
We've all had many times in our lives when we've been faced with making decisions regarding moving one way or the other. Or stopping something and starting something else. Or delaying deciding until a later time, or a better time. Or just not deciding to decide. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on December 31, 2010
Five Years of Insights
July 31, 2010 by Andre Best
This article marks the fifth anniversary of this web-log, or blog, as venues such as this are more commonly referenced. And, during that last several years, as much as I would like to say that I write this blog, I can't. It may sound rather cryptic: but this blog writes itself. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on July 31, 2010
Inside Out or Outside In: You Choose
May 30, 2010 by Andre Best
Insights are interesting in that they can appear at any time and any place, provided one is staying open to their appearance. I had an insight appear recently when I was talking with a group of friends, and it was so impacting to me that it left me speechless and unable to effectively communicate what it was that just happened. When insights are powerful enough they have the effect of doing that, at least that is my experience. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on May 30, 2010
Your Right to Be Wrong
December 31, 2009 by Andre Best
Sometimes this blog of mine is a real labor of love. It's a real labor to write at times, especially when I don't feel particularly inspired to write anything cogent. And at times it's something that I love to do as I love to share and impart information to readers of this e-rag so as to benefit the whole of existence, in some way, even if in hindsight that imparting is viewed as wrong. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on December 31, 2009
The Gift of One
September 29, 2009 by Andre Best
When one knows that what one was, one becomes. When one knows that what one was, one is. One understands, one is born. One lives and thrives, serendipity willing. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on September 29, 2009
The New Colors of America
November 15, 2008 by Andre Best
Well, it happened. The United States finally has someone different in the old Oval Office, literally. Their first minority President. It was a somewhat close call, as far as the popularity ratings went, between Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama. But, now the history textbooks will show that Barack Hussein Obama was chosen as the United States' 44th President. Cool. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on November 15, 2008
Insights Blog: Day 1000 - Blog Entry 91
August 19, 2008 by Andre Best
t has been three years now since I began this digital e-rag, and sometimes I'll admit that I regret starting it. I wrote about before, a couple of years ago, about what it means to undertake blogging and exactly what a blog is. Well, I'll tell you what it is... It's work. It takes dedication, and passion, and commitment to the cause, and actually believing that one has something worthy to share. Nevermind holding onto the tenuous belief that others think that what one is sharing is worthy of their precious time. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on August 19, 2008
From Writhing To Writing
November 3, 2006 by Andre Best
Writing can be such an immense pleasure. Or a terrible pain. Why? Because it forces the writer to confront the words and thoughts that are in the mind. And sometimes, even though the mind is perpetually spinning, the words just don't seem to want to come out. Even though I like to write, I find at times that the ability to write can seem especially difficult to undertake. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on November 3, 2006

Yes Virginia There Is a Santa Claus, Butt...
September 30, 2006 by Andre Best
Ever have one of those defining childhood moments that refuse to leave your memory no matter how long ago the event may have transpired? I have one of these in relation to my meeting Santa Claus one cold Canadian Christmas Eve night when I was seven years old. I was forever changed after that night. In more ways than one. I'll explain... $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on September 30, 2006
Internet Advertising and Website Design: a Refresher
April 12, 2006 by Andre Best
I'm writing this article to get a minor Internet advertising / website design issue/beef off my chest. It's more of a soapbox rant then anything else but it's worthy to read if you own a website, or do any sort of Internet advertising for yourself, or website design for your business. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on April 12, 2006 | Comments (1)
An Awful Waste of (Outer) Space
January 4, 2006 by Andre Best
I remember reading this analogy of just how big the cosmos is and how we can't be so conceited to think that we're alone in all of it. The example went something like this... Imagine that the Sun is a grain of sand and that the Earth is an imperceptibly smaller grain of matter circling around that small grain of sand. Got the picture? Good. Let's continue. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on January 4, 2006 | Comments (1)
Ever Heard of A Charlie Brown Christmas?
December 2, 2005 by Andre Best
It's the holiday season around the country and this is no more evident than in North America and the televising of A Charlie Brown Christmas on CBS. However, this year I had an unexpected insight into this North American Christmas television tradition as I discussed this subject with my nine-year-old son. $MTEntryExcerpt$>Posted by Andre Best on December 2, 2005
